AWS Developer: Getting Started


fuss:  a show of anger, worry, or excitement that is unnecessary or greater than the situation deserves:
i.e: I don't know what all the fuss is about
      It's all a fuss about nothing
      I don't see what the fuss is about - he seems like a fairly ordinary-looking guy to me.

daunting: seems difficult to deal with in prospect; intimidating.
i.e: AWS can seem daunting. You know one of the pain points which I experienced when first learning was difficulty in working through Amazon documentation, and overwhelming issue of where to start to learn.

holistic: dealing with or treating the whole of something or someone and not just a part:
synonyms: Complete and whole

i.e: I have designed this course to guide developers through AWS in a logical and holistic manner.

sequel: a published, broadcast, or recorded work that continues the story or develops the theme of an earlier one.
synonyms: follow-up, continuation

 i.e: The getting started course is designed as the sequel to that big picture course.

 Conceptual: relating to or based on the mental concepts,
                    based on ideas or principles
synonyms: logic and reason

 i.e: The big picture course is very conceptual, and a great companion to this Get ting started course, which will be more technical.

There is a maximum of 30 database per instance and 4 TB on each instance, so if your application depends on an architecture where you need to have 100 databases in the same instance then this is a showstopper for RDS.
